Job Description
This position is responsible for daily operation of heavy equipment, including truck driving, drop ball crane operation, material handling, pot carrying, and loader activities at a steel/metal recovery plant. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Performing routine mobile equipment pre-start and post-operation inspections and recording activities on inspection sheets. Following all plant safety guidelines for the safe operation of heavy mobile equipment. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of experience as an equipment operator. Ability to perform manual labor outdoors, potentially in elevated areas and extreme weather conditions. Good communication skills and the ability to read operating instructions. Proactive about safety and able to work well in a team environment. Additional Information
