Landscape Architect
to join our
Charlotte, NC
office to work on a variety of projects for public and private clients. Typical projects involve site/civil design for residential, mixed-use, commercial and industrial site development, and capital improvement projects. Responsibilities
Prepare layout studies, yield studies, and parking studies for commercial/residential. Prepare development plans to support Rezoning and/or Special Exception applications. Assist with conducting public meetings and workshops. Site/civil development including construction site plans, grading design, storm water management systems design, landscaping, erosion and sediment control design, and construction details using Civil 3D. Ability to perform in the role of Project Manager responsible for client relationship management. Preparation of all associated calculations, reports and spreadsheets. May also conduct code research, write specifications, and coordinate permitting. Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or Urban Planning. 5-12 years of experience in landscape architecture. Registered Landscape Architect required. Registration with NC and/or SC is preferred. Strong freehand illustration and rendering skills. Experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Sketchup, GIS/ArcView and Power Point. Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office is required. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Portfolio or work samples will be required if considered for an interview. Don’t meet every single requirement?
