Overview
Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a Test Engineer to be an integral part of a collaborative team supporting USSOCOM Special Operations Forces Mission Program by functional and automated application testing for an enterprise advanced discovery capability aimed at unstructured data. The application is delivered in incremental releases that add functionality and expand analytic capabilities and data interaction. The candidate will contribute to cloud-to-cloud migrations, hardware-to-cloud migrations consulting, and ensure quality for AI/ML data pipelines and related infrastructure. The position is located in Tampa, FL and is expected to be on-site at a customer location in a hybrid capacity. Key Responsibilities
Provide manual and automated testing of various software products within the AI/ML Data Factory context. Document defects with clear and concise reporting; execute test cases and communicate defects to the software team. Understand requirements (user stories) and write test cases aligned with AI/ML Data Factory objectives. Coordinate and participate in project meetings during the software development lifecycle. Document and interpret business and technical requirements for testing across Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall methodologies. Participate in technical exchange meetings with developers and data scientists; collaborate with testers from other teams. Communicate testing results to multiple audiences; act as a trainer and update user guide documentation. Develop and deliver the test workflow framework and procedures for the client’s applications. Conduct performance testing in addition to functional and regression testing, focusing on AI/ML pipeline performance and scalability. Required Qualifications
5+ years of relevant experience. Experience within the last 3 years developing end-to-end automation scripts with test tools (Selenium WebDriver/RC preferred; similar tools accepted). Experience with test-driven development and Enterprise Lean Agile or other agile methodologies. Experience developing test plans, test cases, and technical documentation for complex software systems, ideally with AI/ML components. Experience using reporting and tracking defects in JIRA or similar tools. Experience testing web applications across back-end, service tier, and presentation layers with various GUIs. Ability to understand customer requirements and develop testing approaches to improve usability, functionality, and end-user experience. Experience conducting performance testing using tools such as JMeter, with emphasis on AI/ML workload characteristics. Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task, work independently, and be a self-starter. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, certifications, or experience. US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance. Desired Qualifications
Experience with accessibility testing using tools such as JAWS, Total11Y, ZoomText, or similar. Experience with client engagement and collaboration. Experience testing AI/ML models and pipelines. Experience with data validation and data quality testing related to AI/ML datasets. Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools; experience testing big data technologies underpinning AI/ML pipelines.
