Sales Engineer
in the
Houston, Texas
area! This is an ideal
entry-to-mid-level career-track
role for an individual with a technical or business background who is ready to transition into a client-facing sales position within industrial automation. Full Compensation Package & Schedule
Work Schedule:
Hybrid schedule
(3 days in office, 2 days remote) after initial training period.

This role is designed as a direct path into a
Strategic Sales
and
Account Management
leadership role.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development Support:
Assist in market research, lead generation, and client qualification activities.
Proposal Preparation:
Work closely with technical and commercial teams to prepare accurate and compelling technical/commercial proposals and presentations.
Client Engagement:
Attend virtual and in-person client meetings to understand technical requirements and effectively present the company’s portfolio of offerings.
Solution Alignment:
Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to ensure proposed solutions are fully aligned with client needs.
Market Focus:
Participate in marketing and sales campaigns specifically targeting the
renewables and energy transition
sectors.
CRM Management:
Ensure timely and accurate entry and documentation of all sales activities within the CRM system.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) or Engineering (Electrical, Computer, or related discipline) required.
Experience:
1–2 years
of relevant experience in an engineering, inside sales, or technical support role.
Client-Facing Readiness:
Strong desire and demonstrated readiness to move into a primary client-facing sales role.
Technical Acumen:
Ability to quickly develop a solid understanding of a complex technical portfolio (industrial automation and digital solutions) to effectively communicate value propositions.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills essential for building and maintaining client relationships.
