That knowledge is key for modeling and analyzing large electric power networks. We’re looking for an electrical engineer to provide advanced engineering solutions and recommendations for the U.S. military. At Booz Allen, you’ll use your engineering skills to transform the Department of Defense. Our team develops tools and methods for analyzing and modeling complex infrastructure systems. We need you, an electrical engineer with a solid background in power system design and operation, to help us design and develop power system models and solutions. You’ll conduct all-source intelligence analysis and modeling of electric power generation and distribution systems using geospatial and power system modeling tools and software. You’ll directly impact the Department of Defense by providing solutions to complex military problems. We’ll look to you to share your electrical engineering expertise through leadership and mentoring junior staff. You Have: Experience with electric power system analysis, modeling, and simulation tools including PowerWorld or Power System Simulator for Engineers Knowledge of electric power system design and operation Ability to work as part of a team, research and analyze technical inputs, and present findings to clients TS / SCI clearance Nice If You Have: Experience in the Defense or Intelligence community Knowledge of Defense or Intelligence data sources and analytic tools Ability to use ArcGIS and analyze geospatial data Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering Clearance: Applicants will be subject to a security investigation; TS/SCI clearance is required. Our recognition awards acknowledge exceptional performance. Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours/week are eligible for benefits.
