Early Career Electrical Engineer - Circuit Design

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full‑Time Early Career Circuit Card Design Engineer in Dallas, TX. As a key member of our electrical engineering team, you will research, develop, design, and test complex Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) designs and electrical systems for military equipment.
Basic Qualifications
Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, electronics, and electromagnetism, demonstrated through strong academic performance (circuit design and analysis, electromagnetics, power class, device physics, VLSI).
Proficiency in CAD design tools, such as Mentor Graphics Cadence, Autodesk Fusion 360, etc. Demonstrated lab work and projects is desired.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues or system integration issues, demonstrated through hands‑on experience.
Demonstrated successful group collaboration and/or project work, ideally in an electronics or design area.
Desired Skills
Pursuing or has a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with digital and analog circuit design (PSPICE, LTSPICE, TINA‑TI, etc.) including hybrid technologies and high‑speed digital design.
Familiarity with electrical equipment, such as Power Supplies, Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, etc.
Experience with troubleshooting and debugging complex electrical systems, including analog and digital circuits.
Experience with simulation tools, such as SPICE, Simscape, LTSpice, PSPice, NI Multisim, Simulink, TINA‑TI, etc.
Experience with signal integrity design tools, such as Hyperlynx.
Microelectronics experience at the transistor level.
Strong understanding of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) principles.
Experience with programming languages, such as Python, C++, or MATLAB, and their application to electrical engineering problems, demonstrated through internships, projects, or academic coursework.
Experience with Windchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Agile PLM or similar tools.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as IPC, IEEE, VITA, and MIL‑STD.
Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for testability (DFT) principles.
