Effectively investigating, assessing, evaluating, and monitoring the suitability, risks and properties of site ground conditions is a crucial part of successful project delivery. Our team in Tampa, FL is looking for a Geotechnical Engineer (PE) to provide Geotechnical and Civil Engineering services for our Residential, Commercial, Municipal, Federal, Maritime, and Transportation clients. Responsibilities include: Data Collection and Analysis: Conduct research using primary data sources, and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends. Geoscientific Studies and Interpretations: Create proposals for exploration-well locations, oversee geological/geophysical modeling, and lead data interpretation. Reservoir Characterization and Analysis: Analyze reservoir engineering data, prepare project databases, and support reservoir simulation. Engineering Solutions Design: Contribute to engineering solutions design, feasibility testing, and validation. Knowledge Management: Implement policies, share best practices, and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions. Data Management: Develop and operate data management systems under guidance. Technical Developments: Recommend technical innovations to improve software and infrastructure. Personal Development: Participate in training, maintain professional accreditation, and stay updated with industry best practices. Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and solve technical issues with equipment and experiments. Research: Achieve goals within established research systems. Project Management: Manage small to medium projects within established plans. Exploration Plan Development: Design and implement exploration plans. Client Management: Build and maintain relationships with clients. Qualifications include: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering PE license in Florida; willingness to obtain additional licenses 5-10 years geotechnical experience Proven technical delivery and client management skills Experience with geotechnical lab testing and QA/QC oversight Willingness to travel up to 25% Strong communication skills We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our workforce.
