Description
Responsible for the soldering and reworking of printed circuit boards in the SMT area. This role consists of providing soldering techniques and applications to reach the highest standards in our industry. The goal is to provide our customers with best-in-class quality and reliability for workmanship. Follow work instructions and assemble products to supplied documentation Properly scan in and out of jobs per provided work order and routing step Verify accuracy and count of PCBA’s in and out of the work area Working with line operators and other assembly technicians to reduce potential quality escapes Keep a clean and organized workspace with daily maintenance in mind Communicate issues as they arise with SMT Supervisor/Manager Assist with other key areas of SMT manufacturing as required React positively to change and perform duties as assigned Customer first attitude Team oriented and self-motivated Qualifications
5+ years working in a full-scale production environment Ability to solder alloys such as 63/37, SAC305, SN100, HMP Working with flux types of RMA, Water Soluble and No Clean Ability to rework and repair down to component level Experience with Hot Air equipment Computer literate IPC-A-610 Standard knowledge High School Diploma or equivalent Flexible work schedule
