Purchasing/Procurement Manager
to join a fast-growing defense and technology-focused organization that specializes in advanced training solutions for military and commercial clients. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing vendor relationships, overseeing logistics, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations. Key Responsibilities
Manage daily purchasing operations, vendor contracts, and inventory tracking. Source and procure equipment and services including virtual reality, high-end gaming, and aircraft avionics. Create RFQs and purchase orders; review terms and conditions; negotiate with vendors under leadership guidance. Track shipments and maintain inventory using UNANET. Coordinate logistics for office supplies, program shipments, and tradeshows. Ensure compliance with FAR, DFAR, ITAR, and internal policies. Collaborate with Accounting to ensure accurate financial tracking and vendor payments. Maintain audit-ready records and provide regular updates to leadership. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree + 4 years of relevant experience, OR Associate Degree + 8 years, OR High School Diploma + 12 years of directly related experience. Experience in government, industrial, or aerospace purchasing or subcontracting. Strong knowledge of procurement compliance and vendor management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to present financial data clearly. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel 5–10% for vendor and customer engagement. Additional Requirements
Must pass background checks (criminal, civil, employment, education). Drug screening required. U.S. work authorization and eligibility for Secret Clearance.
