Nights (United States of America) Summary
The MRI Technologist is fully competent to perform all MRI routine procedures for the diagnostic treatment of specified diseases or conditions. ARRT Registered or a Graduate from an Associate in Applied Science in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is required. AHA CPR provided by Cape Fear Valley Training and Development is required at orientation and must be maintained. Any applicant not registered as an ARRT in MRI must provide documentation of application with the ARRT to sit for the MRI registry. Registration in MRI with the ARRT is required within one (1) year of the hiring date. Failure to achieve registration post one (1) year will result in termination of employment. One to two years of experience is preferred. Applicants must be able to communicate orally, possess manual dexterity and visual acuity, have mobility to assume awkward positions, respond to emergency situations, and be able to bend and lift. Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development and understand the range of treatment needed for all age groups. Provide care based on the patient’s developmental need. Experience in the treatment and care of patients of all ages, including neo-natal, newborns, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, is essential. Position may involve skin, eye, or mucous membrane contact with blood or other potentially infectious material. Required Licenses and Certifications
