Reed Animal Hospital ( Saratoga) is a full-service animal hospital whose mission is to provide the highest standard of quality and compassion in veterinary care for our clients and their pets. As a privately owned practice, we prioritize building strong relationships with our loyal client base, their beloved pets and our staff. We are looking for a veterinarian who is committed to excellence in veterinary medicine and who shares our values of compassion , integrity , and professionalism. Our hospital is located in beautiful Saratoga , California. We are fortunate to be near the Santa Cruz mountains , the beach , San Francisco and more. A fabulous place to live and work !
About Our Hospital We use electronic records and are equipped with advanced diagnostic technology including in house labs from both IDEXX, ABAXIS, and ZOETIS, including the new VETSCAN Imagist from Zoetis. We have digital x-ray and digital dental X-ray, in house ultrasound and K-laser therapy. Additionally , we have a fully equipped surgical suite utilizing advanced monitoring equipment, electrocautery, and Bair huggers to provide optimal surgical care. We have an incredible support staff. Our RVT’s and technicians are well utilized .Our caring and experienced team maintains an efficient and enjoyable work environment by being motivated to fulfill the needs of our doctors, patients and clients.
Compensation: First 12 months guaranteed base $175,000 or 22% whichever is greater. Associates can expect to earn up to $300,000 or more. What we are looking for: Proficient skills in medicine, surgery and dentistry Commitment to practicing excellent patient care Understand and prioritize the importance of the client experience Ability and confidence to handle walk-in urgent cases Have teamwork mentality Ability to maintain accurate medical records Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving and organizational skills Qualifications: One year of experience or internship preferred Mentoring is available California veterinary license required
