At Paws & Claws Animal Hospital, we offer the perfect balance of small town charm with the high quality medicine you would find in major metropolitan cities. Located in Damascus, MD, we proudly serve three of the four largest cities in Maryland while remaining deeply rooted in our community.
Why Paws & Claws
We are a general practice, not an ER, so there are no overnight care or on call duties. Our appointment times are 30 minutes, allowing you to practice quality medicine without being rushed.
Our modern facility includes:
Five exam rooms
Full in house laboratory
Digital records, radiography and cytology
Ultrasound
Laser therapy
Digital dental radiographs
A newly built dental suite (suited for a dental specialist)
Complete surgical suite

What Makes Us Different Our highly trained support staff handles all of the technical work including anesthesia monitoring, radiographs, blood draws, and more. This allows our veterinarians to focus on medicine, surgery, and building client relationships without being weighed down by tasks that could otherwise take away from patient care.
