The team is developing a secure and scalable SaaS solution that supports collaboration, analytics, and compliance for the life sciences industry. The platform is hosted in Azure and adheres to cloud-first development practices. The QA Automation Team is responsible for testing both front-end (React.js web application) and back-end (REST/GraphQL APIs) systems, with a strong focus on automated testing. Technologies
TypeScript Playwright GitLab Xray REST & GraphQL APIs React.js What You'll Do
Design and implement automated test cases for UI, APIs, and system components using Playwright and TypeScript; Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, DevOps, product managers) to ensure comprehensive test coverage; Conduct manual testing where automation does not yet exist; Participate in acceptance testing of third-party components integrated into the platform; Continuously improve and scale the test automation framework; Estimate test efforts and proactively identify gaps in coverage; Document and maintain test procedures, guidelines, and results; Stay updated with modern QA automation tools and share knowledge with the team. Job Requirements
5+ years of experience in test automation, specifically for SaaS solutions; Solid experience with Playwright or similar testing frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, Mabl); Experience in manual testing and strong understanding of QA processes and best practices; Experience testing front-end web applications and back-end APIs (REST & GraphQL); Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and CI/CD processes; Excellent communication skills with a proactive mindset and ability to build trust, negotiate, and collaborate across distributed teams; English - Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher. Experience with Java or Kotlin; Familiarity with regulated environments (e.g., GxP, FDA CFR Part 11, SOC 2); Experience with SQL and database testing; Knowledge of performance testing tools or practices. What Do We Offer
