Job Summary
As a Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer/ Designer, you’ll play a key role in shaping the systems that bring buildings to life. From high-rise hotels and dynamic retail spaces, educational facilities to multi-story residential apartments, you’ll design mechanical HVAC solutions using Revit to transform bold ideas into impactful, real-world solutions.
General Duties
Design Heating, Ventilating & Air Conditioning Systems for various types of facilities
Produce mechanical design drawings in Revit and AutoCAD
Perform field investigations
Coordinate quality control, scheduling, and programming
Coordinate and communicate information and progress with all three disciplines (mechanical, electrical and plumbing)
Provide construction administration services
Skills
Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, MS Office
Solid understanding of duct design, piping design, air handlers, chiller, and boiler systems
Experience performing load calculations, equipment selection and design, wet and dry side system design
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work
Knowledge of CBC, CMC and CPC codes, DDC controls, Title 24, HAP or Energy Pro
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years commercial mechanical HVAC system design experience using Revit
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is a plus
Location: Austin, TX - Hybrid
Travel: 5%
