Entergy Operations, Inc.-EOI This position may be filled as an Engineer II, III or Sr. depending on the identified candidates’ qualifications. The position may be located anywhere in the Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, or Texas region. JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Asset Management engineers fundamentally manage programs for all distribution assets, including but not limited to Poles, Equipment Maintenance (reclosers, regulators, capacitors, transformers, etc.), Underground Maintenance, Underground Inspection, Overhead Maintenance, Overhead Inspection, Reliability, Outage Causal Analysis, and other similar programs. The Engineer will work closely with Planning Engineering, Design Engineering, Standards Engineering, and construction/operations activities (routine, non-routine, and emergency restoration duties). JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs a wide variety of detailed engineering analysis to aid in distribution-related areas such as planning, maintenance, design, project management, construction, and operations. Uses engineering/technical principles, best practices, and knowledge of internal and external business issues to solve problems, develop cost-effective, technically sound solutions, and improve products or services. Applies knowledge of engineering principles in evaluating alternatives, making decisions, and interpreting/applying applicable electrical codes, procedures, standards, processes, and policies. Supports activities to comply with applicable Distribution industry standards and best practices and other utility regulations, as required. Works with other disciplines within the Distribution organization and other company business units to achieve stated goals. Assist with storm/emergency restoration efforts as necessary. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum education required

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Discipline (typically Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, and Industrial) from a four-year accredited institution. Degrees in engineering technology (typically Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, and Industrial) from a four-year accredited institution with PE may be considered. Desired - Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree Minimum experience required

Engineer II - 2+ years experience in an engineering discipline. Engineer III - 4+ years experience in an engineering discipline. Engineer Sr - 6+ years experience in an engineering discipline. Preferred: Planning, Field, or Reliability engineering experience Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities

Demonstrated ability to apply engineering principles. Thorough understanding of procedures, programs, and standards in responsible area. Consistently demonstrates good engineering judgment. Good leadership and interpersonal skills with strong written and oral communication abilities. Excellent math, project management, PC operations, and related software knowledge. Ability to manage multiple activities and changing priorities, work well under pressure, and follow Entergy safety policies and procedures. Ability to recognize hazards and mitigate them. Commitment to a diverse and inclusive work environment and customer base. Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and enact change. Certificates, licenses etc.

Must have valid driver's license and good driving record. WORKING CONDITIONS
