Position: Junior Aeronautical Engineer – King of Prussia, PA Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Junior Aeronautical Engineer to join our team in King of Prussia, PA.

As an Aeronautical Engineer with the Strategic Reentry Programs Aerothermal team you will provide support to various missile programs. You will support multiple team’s performance related to the modeling and simulation of hypersonic flight vehicles. You will work in a small, fast moving team on concept‑level vehicle analysis, study of hypersonic aerodynamics, as well as the design of proposed experimental hardware and instrumentation. In this role, you will perform complex Computation Fluid Dynamics (CFD) calculations and manipulate CFD data.

Basic Qualifications

Knowledge of Fluid Dynamics and/or Thermodynamics

Matlab or other programming language experience

Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance; must be a US Citizen

Desired Skills

BS degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or similar Engineering Degree from accredited school

Familiar with Computational Fluid Dynamic solvers including CFD++, US3D, CART3D

Familiar with Wind Tunnel Testing

Active DoD security clearance

Security Clearance Statement This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret
