R0027431 SNC's Military Fellowship Program partners with programs such as SkillBridge and Hiring Our Heroes to provide fellowship opportunities to service members transitioning to the civilian workforce. These fellowships include up to six months of on-the-job industry training for eligible service members. Participants gain valuable work experience and build professional networks as they prepare for full-time civilian work. Note:
You must be currently serving on active duty to be eligible. This program is not for veterans who have already separated from the military. Role Overview:
As a Safety Specialist at SNC, you will handle technical work across HSE disciplines, focusing on stakeholder engagement, risk reduction, and program compliance with federal, state, and local HSE standards. You will work individually and in teams to develop, implement, and address employee and stakeholder concerns. About the Business Area:
The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area specializes in ISR and aviation systems, including design, integration, testing, certification, training, and logistics support. The team tailors solutions to meet customer requirements, ensuring on-time and under-budget delivery. Qualifications You Must Have:
Currently serving active duty military and eligible for the DoD SkillBridge program Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field, with 0-2+ years of safety experience in aerospace, military, aviation, or industry Experience may substitute for degree Knowledge of occupational health & safety standards, EPA, OSHA, NFPA regulations Ability to conduct job hazard analyses, site audits, and root cause analyses Proficiency with data analysis, spreadsheets, and presentations Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with DCMA INST 8210 Background in Aerospace and Defense Industry Certifications such as ASP or OHST SNC offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with 150% match up to 6%, life insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.
