Epic Clinical Systems Analyst II
ensures that the operational interests of their respective functional areas are represented in the day-to-day operations of the Information Systems Department. This role supports the Epic Clinical applications deployed within Harris Health System.
Responsibilities
Represent operational interests of functional areas in IT operations for Epic Clinical applications
Collaborate with clinical and IT teams to ensure effective workflow and data integrity
Support day-to-day activities related to Epic Clinical Case Management
Qualifications
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure : Bachelor’s degree in an Information Systems / Clinical Informatics related field or 4 years of related IT experience in a healthcare environment
Certifications : Epic Clinical Case Management certification
Work Experience : 2+ years in IT; 1 year in hospital/health care organizations
Special Requirements :
Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal / Exceptional Verbal
Public contact and potential for on-site after-hours work
Analytical, design, research, statistical skills
Bilingual skills not required
Other Skills : Ability to handle multiple activities, prioritize, and meet deadlines; understanding of functional processes and business rules related to applications
Advanced Education : Epic Certification (for at least one Epic Clinical Application) preferred
Work Schedule : On Call
Other Requirements :
Be available to work on site (after hours) as needed
Experience providing hands-on clinical patient care in hospital or clinic setting preferred
Experience Supporting an Electronic Medical Record System
Healthcare Information Technology experience
Understanding of applications and business rules
