R25092222**Summary****Job Description:**# **PET/Nuclear Medicine Tech****Full-Time, Days**## **Qualified Candidates eligible for $15,000.00 Sign-On Bonus****Job Description:*** The Nuclear Medicine Technologist provides health care services using radioisotopes to assist in diagnosis of cardiac specific pathologies.* Performs Nuclear Medicine related procedures specific to MPI, computer processing, and related techniques to produce images for the interpretation by a cardiologist.* Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.* Recognizes various patient conditions in order to provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure.**Requirements:*** Satisfactory completion of an education program in Nuclear Medicine.* Current license with the American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or certificate with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).* Current license with the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.* Current Advanced ARRT and/or CNMT Registry required.
