The

Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) RN

is essential in delivering exceptional patient care during procedures such as

open heart ,

coronary bypass ,

valve surgery , and

congenital heart defects . The CVOR at Presbyterian Hospital provides a fast-paced environment equipped with advanced technology and a multidisciplinary team approach. Our facilities include three dedicated heart rooms and one hybrid room, serving both pediatric and adult patients. Procedures include Open Heart Surgery (coronary bypass, valve surgery, congenital heart defects), Transfemoral Aortic Valve Replacements, and Thoracic Cases. Work Schedule

Provide individualized patient care, coordinate with the healthcare team, perform assessments, administer medications, meet discharge needs, evaluate patient progress, respond to emergencies, delegate tasks, supervise staff, assist with procedures, and ensure competency and orientation for staff and students. Maintain professional standards and incorporate PHS mission in care activities. Assume leadership roles as needed and adhere to in-service and performance standards. Qualifications

Associate Degree in Nursing State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License BLS certification REQUIRED at hire ACLS and PALS certifications for Surgical Services Pre-Op and Recovery Room CVOR experience highly preferred Benefits
