Commission-based compensation with guaranteed six-figure base

(no income risk in Year 1!) Guaranteed base will be determined based on experience, but will be a minimum of $100K Doctors are EXPECTED to far-exceed their base, this is just a safety net! An experienced vet with efficient case management and good surgery skills can make $200K+ in total compensation (salary + benefits) While we are commission based, emphasis is on earning by practicing good medicine and providing the care our patients deserve. Unlimited earning potential as your caseload grows 25% of your gross is allocated to you as salary and benefits Generous & flexible time-off

(and not-so-new grads) 6-month formal program with ongoing mentorship & support for new grads Mentorship in surgery, exotic animal medicine, cytology, etc. offered as well for all vets AAHA Accredited hospital --this means we practice by the highest and most up-to-date standards! NO after-hours emergency! NO after-hours client calls! There are urgent care, 24-hour specialty/emergency care, and ER facilities nearby. Nurses monitor and answer client questions from 8a.m. until 10p.m. daily. Career growth opportunities

wide range of exotic animals We see small exotic mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and miniature pigs We also see privately owned zoo animals such as primates, sloths, bobcats, etc. Work in a modern, well-equipped facility with an experienced support team Facility was custom designed and built in 2016 Surgical CO2 laser, cold-therapy laser, ultrasound, digital dental X-ray, and more! A close-knit, compassionate team

that supports each other and loves what we do Team 3-day trips when we meet our goals, annual family events, team events, and more! Each doctor is assigned an in-person Scribe to compile all medical notes for quick review Well-trained nurses and assistants

allow doctors to work as doctors! Nurses draw blood, place catheters, induce/monitor anesthesia, run diagnostics, etc. Assistants trim nails, cover client education, set up diagnostics, get histories/TPRs etc. 12 support staff for 2 doctors Extensive formal staff training program ensures that staff are qualified for their roles. Charting time built into the 40 hour/week schedule We give back to the community

and will allow you to do so as well! Strong relationship with the local county shelter. No cost/at-cost care for wildlife in the local wildlife rehabilitation community At cost care for rescue groups and sheriff/police/fire dogs In-house fund to assist low-income clients with emergency needs Great location!

We are in the eastern suburbs of Cincinnati, a family-friendly midwestern city. What We’re Looking For: A DVM/VMD with a strong interest in small and exotic animal care A positive, team-focused attitude and excellent communication skills A desire for growth, flexibility, and long-term opportunity New graduates are encouraged to apply!
