Overview Since its opening, Marcello Veterinary Hospital has been a trusted provider of best-in-class veterinary care to pets and pet parents across Southern Louisiana. Our Medical Director, Dr. Kevin Showalter, and the team continue this legacy with a focus on excellent care and community service.

Marcello Veterinary Hospital has two South Louisiana locations and is part of PetVet’s network of more than 460 hospitals across the continental United States. Our teams work across feline-only care, standard small animal general practice, to exotics, large animal, and equine specialty/ambulatory care. We empower doctors with local support networks, continuing education, access to industry-leading health and wellness benefits, and more.

Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or ECFVG equivalent; in good standing with the Louisiana State Veterinary Board license.

Holds (or is eligible for) an active DEA license.

Has 1–2 years of experience (or internship equivalent).

Enthusiastic about providing exceptional veterinary care.
