We are seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Geologist to join our geotechnical services team. This role involves field investigations, geological analysis, report writing, and collaboration on residential and commercial development projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a team. Responsibilities

Plan and oversee exploratory drilling operations Perform soil, groundwater, and soil vapor sampling Conduct detailed geological logging and mapping Carry out site inspections and support field investigations Prepare high-quality geotechnical reports, technical memos, and project proposals Execute geotechnical analyses including shallow and deep foundations, retaining walls, slope stability, trench and excavation support, pavement and drainage systems, liquefaction, settlement, and seismic evaluations Review and interpret design drawings and related documentation Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Qualifications

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Geology or a related field Minimum 4 years of experience in geotechnical engineering or geological fieldwork California Professional Geologist license (or eligibility for licensure) Strong experience with field logging, geological mapping, and report preparation Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment Experience with San Francisco Bay Area geology is a plus Key Skills

Field investigation and sampling, geological and geotechnical analysis, report and proposal writing, foundation and retaining system design, slope stability and seismic risk assessment, communication and client coordination
