We are seeking a talented and experienced
Data Automation Engineer
to join our Professional Services team. In this role, you will provide deployment and implementation expertise on Beta Systems’ industry-leading workload automation product. As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with our customers to build advanced data ecosystems by integrating technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, and EMR with workload automation tools. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with customers to deploy and implement our workload automation solutions Develop and optimize data ecosystems by integrating modern data platforms with automation tools Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on best practices and solutions to meet customer needs Work collaboratively, partnering with team members and other service providers to deliver high-quality solutions Who You Are An experienced Data Platform Engineer, Data Engineer, or DevOps Specialist with deep knowledge of data ecosystems Proficient in modern data platforms and automation tools A strong communicator who works effectively with customers, team members, and external service providers Qualifications 5-9 years of relevant experience Proven expertise in at least two of the following areas Scripting and automation with
Python
and Linux Shell Modern data solutions like
AWS EMR, Azure HDInsight, GCP Dataproc , Snowflake, Databricks, or dbt (Data Build Tool) DevOps and DataOps tools such as Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, Git (Bitbucket, GitLab, GitHub), JFrog, Terraform, CloudFormation, etc Containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift Strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach to challenges Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field (equivalent experience also considered) Why Join Us?
