Phlebotomist – Blood Donation – Little Rock, AR

Location: Little Rock, AR

Pay: Competitive pay based on experience; additional pay for technical school certification, associate degree’s, bachelor’s degrees, etc; additional pay if fluent in Spanish; WORLD CLASS PAID on-the-job training; $500 bonus after 6 months and $1,000 bonus after 1 year!

Days and Hours: Varied based on when blood drives are scheduled

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform registration, vitals, medical screening, phlebotomy, heat sealing duties and record keeping associated with whole‑blood, autologous, directed, therapeutic, testing services, research projects, etc
• Strictly adhere to all standard operating procedures ensuring all blood products are collected within the quality standards set forth by regulatory agencies including the FDA
• Assist supervisor in verifying and completion of daily paperwork
• Alert the Supervisor of any problems or concerns when issues arise related to equipment, venipuncture, donor questions/issues or equipment performance
• Continually assess donor needs throughout the donation process, including evaluating and treating donor reactions
• Educate donors on blood fact information such as donation frequency, need for blood products, etc
• All other duties assigned by supervisor

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; college classes a plus. Excellent customer service, reliable, able to lift 40 lbs regularly, flexible schedule including early mornings, late evenings and weekends.

Salary: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
