Phlebotomist (Part‑time, 0.6 FTE) – Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center, Kodiak, AK.
Responsibilities
Provide efficient, accurate, and courteous specimen collection and receiving for patients and residents of the extended care facility, following medical center laboratory policies and federal/state regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Upon hire, one of the following certifications: National Phlebotomy Technician; National Medical Assistant; National Laboratory Technician; National Emergency Medical Technician; Alaska Emergency Medical Technician (licensed by Alaska Department of Health).
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program.
- At least one year of phlebotomy experience.
