What does a Forklift Operator do at Swire Coca-Cola?

The forklift operator moves products or materials in a production or warehouse environment using powered industrial equipment and/or vehicles with an extremely high focus on safety and the safety of others. Work is conducted in a very fast-paced environment where productivity expectations are high.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial vehicles and equipment to relocate products or materials within a warehouse facility. Transport raw materials, finished goods to designated area to meet requirements.
• Ensure proper dunnage is loaded on transport trailers to secure the load to prevent materials from tipping, falling, etc.
• Perform daily inspection and minor maintenance on equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Ensure proper rotation of product.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Forklift certified or willingness to be trained and become certified within 1 month.
• Driving record must meet Swire's vehicle policy.
• Work weekends and holidays as directed by the business.
• Lift 50 pounds.

Base pay range is $21.13/hr plus bonus structure (dependent on role). Pay offered will depend on candidate's geographic location, prior relevant experience, knowledge, skills, & abilities.
