Receptionist – CBRE
Location: Plainsboro, New Jersey, USA
Role Overview: The Workplace Experience Receptionist is the first point of engagement with team members and visitors, providing personalized services and administrative support to build a sense of community and a welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle daily phone inquiries, reservation inbox queries, and bookings for AV, meeting rooms, and catering requests.
- Ensure all client requirements are met with a high level of professionalism.
- Welcome tenants/employees and announce clients, applicants, and visitors; maintain neat appearance of reception/lobby area, conference rooms, café, and other common areas.
- Perform general administrative duties associated with distributing packages and mail as needed.
- Order and stock office supplies, such as café supplies, equipment toner, printer paper, freight, and shipping supplies, etc.
- Follow security and emergency procedures and respond to emergencies calmly and efficiently.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED required; professional hospitality accreditations preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of receptionist, front desk, concierge, or other hospitality experience preferred.
- High level of attention to detail; strong verbal and written skills.
- Passionate about service delivery and exceeding client expectations.
- Open and flexible work schedules.
- Basic analytical skills and problem solving in standard situations.
- Comfortable engaging with new people with a warm demeanor.
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, OneNote, Outlook) and desire to learn new technologies.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, frequent lifting up to 40 lbs, bending, stooping, pushing/pulling.
