An escrow receptionist is an administrative professional who serves as the first point of contact in a real estate escrow office, performing a mix of front-desk and clerical duties to support escrow officers. They handle tasks such as greeting clients, answering phones, and managing mail, while also assisting with administrative work like filing documents, data entry, and preparing paperwork for real estate transactions. The role requires strong communication, organization, and attention to detail to help the closing process run smoothly.

Primary responsibilities

Front-desk and client management:

-Greet and assist clients in person. -Answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate staff. -Provide basic information and support to clients, real estate agents, and others involved in a transaction.

Administrative and clerical support:

-Manage and sort incoming and outgoing mail. -Perform data entry and scan documents into electronic filing systems. -Assist with preparing client files and packages. -Help with general office tasks, such as ordering supplies and preparing meeting rooms.

Escrow process support:

-Help prepare and organize documents for escrow officers. -Provide administrative support throughout the real estate closing process. -Assist with coordinating communication between parties involved in a transaction.

Required skills

-Exceptional customer service and communication skills. -Strong organizational abilities and keen attention to detail. -Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and other common software. -The ability to multitask and manage time effectively. -Basic math and computer skills. -Familiarity with the language and procedures of escrow and real estate transactions is a significant advantage

FULL TIME NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED SALARY RANGE - $17.00 - $21.00
