Mustang Cat is hiring a Heavy Equipment Welder to perform welding repairs on light and heavy construction equipment. The role involves welding fabrication, repairs, disassembly and assembly of equipment, and some light machine work.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding fabrication and repairs on light and heavy construction equipment.
• Disassemble and assemble equipment as needed and perform some light machine work.

Qualifications

• Must own proper tools to perform necessary repairs
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Associates degree or certificate from technical school preferred
• Certified Welder with experience in welding fabrication, arc welding, gas welding, arc gouging, and use of oxyacetylene torch
• Experience reading blueprints, understanding bend allowances
• Ability to follow fabrication procedures
• Must be able to work overtime as needed
• Ability to demonstrate technical, mechanical, and troubleshooting abilities to define and perform necessary repairs

Additional experience strongly preferred

• Technical experience with hydraulic pumps, valves, and motors
