Location: South San Francisco, CA
Salary: $20 - $24.98 per hour
Responsibilities
- Greet customers, receive food orders, repeat food orders.
- Charge the appropriate price for each menu item ordered.
- Receive the correct amount tendered and provide the correct change.
- Enact gift cards requested by customers.
- Be very familiar with and up to date with California Fish Grill Restaurant’s menu and prices.
- Interact with guests in a friendly and fast manner.
- Make corrections to customer orders quickly and efficiently.
- Determine counterfeit money and respond to situations involving counterfeit money.
- Verify age requirements prior to serving alcoholic beverages.
- Treat all customers to ensure their complete satisfaction.
- Report to work in a neat and clean uniform; well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.
- Keep work area neat and clean at all times.
- Clean and maintain equipment used.
- Complete requirements for in-service training, acceptable attendance, uniform and dress codes including personal hygiene, and other work duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED and 1-2 years related work experience or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Prior experience related to cashier or food service positions.
- Valid ServSafe® or other approved Food Handler Certification.
- High level of integrity and honesty.
Working Conditions
Restaurant environment. May be required to work beyond normal working hours as needed to meet customer needs or restaurant requirements.
