Hazardous Waste Coordinator

Join Daniels Health, a mission‑driven leader in healthcare waste management. As our Hazardous Waste Coordinator at our Fresno, CA plant, you will be the resident expert for hazardous materials, ensuring safety, sustainability, and compliance across the entire waste process.

What you will do

  • Respond to hazardous waste inquiries and resolve issues for internal teams and external partners.
  • Manage customer complaints and requests in Salesforce, ensuring accurate escalation.
  • Audit and process driver paperwork, waste labeling, and container demarcation to maintain compliance.
  • Maintain and update hazardous container records, inventory systems, and label orders.
  • Segregate and move waste within the plant, ensuring proper handling and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and collaborate with the National Hazardous Waste Specialist.
  • Communicate promptly with plant management regarding service issues and uphold environmental safety standards.

What we are looking for

  • 1 year of experience in Customer Service / Administrative roles.
  • Willingness to be hands‑on in plant operations.
  • Experience within operational production environments is ideal.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills for efficient reporting.
  • Salesforce experience is preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience in process improvement.
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
