Overview

At Motto by Hilton Nashville Downtown, you will lead the seamless flow of accounting, ensuring everything from payroll to financial records is precise and reliable. As the backbone of our financial operations, you will support our vibrant hotel team while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and integrity.

Essential Job Functions

• Verify and balance cashier deposits, documenting any variances.
• Maintain impeccable accounts, ensuring timely issue resolution and accurate change distribution.
• Ensure daily deposits are safely transferred to the bank, safeguarding every penny.
• Keep the gears of our financial operations well‑oiled with adequate supplies and a keen eye on inventory.

Accounts Receivable

• Set up and manage accounts receivable, ensuring all receivables are harmonious.
• Chase down leads on collections, ensuring every account is settled within 60 days.

Accounts Payable

• Maintain a high level of organization, ensuring each invoice hits the right notes and approvals.
• Participate in the inventory process, helping us stay precise and accurate.

General Accounting

• Handle all end‑of‑month accounting tasks, ensuring everything from revenue to rebills is spot‑on.

Human Resources Generalist

• Direct and manage employment and benefits, creating a stage where every team member can shine.
• Ensure our team's growth by facilitating top‑notch training and development opportunities.
• Lead the new‑hire orientation, setting the stage for success and integration into our hotel’s family.

Who You Are

• A champion of both numbers and people, with a background in Hotel Administration, Management, or Accounting.
• A communicator par excellence, fluent in English and proficient in all things Microsoft Office.
• Someone with a sharp eye for detail, a robust work ethic, and a knack for maintaining confidentiality.
