Trash & Recycling Valet Technician

Job Posting: Trash & Recycling Valet Technician

Employment Type: Part Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday (no weekends). Shift starts 6:30 pm or 7:00 pm, shift duration 1-2 hours.

Pay: $25-$30 per shift

Location: American Fork & Lehi, Utah

Responsibilities

• Collect bagged trash, recycling, and broken-down cardboard from residents' door sides using on-site equipment.
• Transport these materials to designated on-site dumpsters, trash chutes, or compactors.
• Separate recyclables into appropriate dumpsters and inspect for contamination.
• Engage with residents you encounter, providing a friendly and professional service.
• Issue Educational Courtesy Compliance Notices for non-compliant trash or contaminated recycling, along with taking necessary photos.
• Upload photos and compliance notices into our app to document your findings.
• Clean up any loose trash around dumpsters, chute rooms, or compactors.
• Return all equipment to its designated location after service completion.
• Additional tasks may include replacing bags at pet waste stations, collecting bagged pet waste, and managing community waste bins near doors or common areas such as pools and other amenities.
• At the end of your shift, you will check out using our app.
• This position requires extensive walking and, in some cases, climbing stairs. Some communities may also require the use of a personal open bed pickup truck.
