Our Talent Acquisition team is currently seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to join our corporate recruiting team. This role partners with Recruiting Managers, Recruiters, Business Leaders, and HR Business Partners to ensure GEICO candidates have a best‑in‑class recruiting and interviewing experience.
Responsibilities
- Communicating with candidates, recruiters, and business stakeholders to schedule and confirm candidate interviews, which may include virtual interviews, panel, in‑person or career hiring events.
- Tracking scheduling activity and adhering to scheduling targets.
- Scheduling debrief sessions for Hiring Managers and recruiters.
- Initiating candidate assessments, sending candidate reminder notifications, and recording testing results within the applicant tracking system.
- Ensuring GEICO applicants have a positive experience throughout the hiring process while promoting GEICO as an Employer of Choice.
- Collaborating with HR and Onboarding to improve efficiencies in the candidate workflow process.
- Posting job requisitions.
- Screening applicants for basic qualifications, validating complete application materials, and following up with candidates as needed to confirm relevant qualifications.
- Assisting recruiting team in capturing accurate recruiting data and sharing with business partners and recruiting team members.
- Other recruiting administrative projects or tasks as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven time management skills and strong ability to prioritize.
- Ability to take direction and work independently.
- Ability to learn new systems and technology tools.
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in Microsoft Office, specifically MS Outlook and Excel.
- Previous scheduling or recruiting coordinator experience.
- Experience in customer service or sales/client relations.
- Previous experience working in a Talent Acquisition environment.
- Experience working in Applicant Tracking Systems, such as Workday.
Annual Salary
$22.90 - $41.21 hourly (annual salary range is a general guideline).
