This private practice is a sub‑specialty group consisting of expert spine surgeons, neurosurgeons, neurologists, pediatric neurologists, orthopedic surgeons, plastic and reconstructive surgeons, otolaryngologists, ophthalmologists, urologists, and pain medicine physicians. Together, they work to manage injuries of the musculoskeletal system and ensure patients receive the best treatment possible.

Position Description

The new spine surgeon will see patients in an established office and surgery center. Duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

• Consult with patients to determine appropriate courses of treatment
• Perform necessary surgical procedures in the treatment of injuries or symptoms
• Examine patients while ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests
• Obtain information on medical conditions to determine diagnosis
• Provide consultation and comprehensive management of patients
• Monitor patients’ conditions and progress
• Reevaluate patients’ conditions and progress as necessary
• Support appropriate referrals
• Work occasional shifts in Sacramento (with travel expenses covered)
• Possibility for additional shifts in South Bay with additional compensation

Requirements

• California medical license
• DEA registration
• Board Certified or Eligible, Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship, Spine Surgery
