Senior Manufacturing Accountant

INSPYR Solutions is partnered with a client in West Houston that is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Accountant to join their team!

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys digging into the details, improving financial processes, and working cross‑functionally with operations and leadership. Your background in manufacturing or industrial services accounting will be key to success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Own key areas of the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
• Support the monthly close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Analyze financial and operational data to uncover insights and trends
• Manage and monitor fixed assets, capital spending, and asset tracking
• Assist with lease accounting (ASC 842) and compliance with GAAP standards
• Collaborate with operations teams to support process improvements and financial accountability
• Contribute to internal reporting, budgeting, and cost control initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing, oilfield services, or industrial setting
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting systems (SyteLine ERP a plus)
• Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
• A proactive, detail‑oriented mindset with a collaborative attitude
