Our exceptional team of licensed veterinary technicians are the heart of VERG. With our Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) team they play a vital role in delivering life‑saving care. They support our board‑certified Criticalists, emergency clinicians, and specialists across all departments. As we grow, we're seeking top‑tier technicians who thrive under pressure and want to make a real impact.

What You Can Expect To Do

In this dynamic role, you'll be on the front lines of veterinary medicine, supporting complex and urgent cases in Emergency and Critical Care, Surgery, Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Radiology, and Neurology. You'll help stabilize critical patients, perform advanced monitoring, support intensive care treatment plans, and ensure seamless patient care. This role offers flexibility of a 3‑day workweek, providing a four‑day break each week.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidates are detail‑oriented, quick‑thinking, and possess strong clinical & communication skills. Experience in intensive monitoring, emergency triage, ventilator support, post‑op recovery of critical patients, and placing advanced lines (central venous catheters, arterial lines, CVPs) is preferred.

Education/Experience Requirements

• Licensed or Credentialed Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT)
• Minimum 2 years of veterinary technician experience, preferably with ECC or emergency experience in a specialty setting
