Job Description As a Production Controller, you will serve as the critical link between planning and execution in our manufacturing operations. You’ll orchestrate workflow across departments, eliminate production bottlenecks, and ensure seamless coordination between Production, Procurement, Quality, and Inventory teams. Your strategic oversight will optimize resource allocation, maintain material availability, and ensure on‑time delivery to meet and exceed customer expectations in our fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities Orchestrate daily production activities by monitoring work order progress, comparing planned vs. completed jobs, and making real‑time adjustments to maximize efficiency
Conduct regular workstation audits to verify proper labor allocation and material utilization
Proactively identify and resolve production bottlenecks before they impact delivery schedules
Expedite critical orders by strategically reallocating resources and reprioritizing work orders
Update production schedules in real‑time to reflect changing priorities and resource availability
Serve as the primary liaison between Production, Procurement, Quality, and Inventory departments
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to resolve technical issues during production
Review and approve Material Requisitions to ensure timely material availability
Provide regular status updates to stakeholders on job progress, potential delays, and completion timelines
Coordinate with logistics and purchasing teams to maintain production flow continuity
Ensure all production activities adhere to Weatherford’s Management System, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
Verify proper calibration and usage of gauges and measurement tools
Maintain accurate product traceability throughout the manufacturing process
Support and enforce 5S workplace organization standards across production areas
Uphold the highest standards of Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) compliance
Identify opportunities to streamline production processes and reduce waste
Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in production control
Participate in cross‑functional improvement initiatives to enhance overall operational efficiency
Analyze production data to identify trends and recommend process enhancements
Qualifications Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Associate’s degree acceptable with additional relevant experience)
3‑5+ years of hands‑on experience in production planning/control or inventory management within a manufacturing environment
APICS CPIM certification or equivalent professional credentials preferred
Technical Skills:
Comprehensive knowledge of production planning methodologies including MRP II, master scheduling, and capacity planning
Proficient in ERP/MRP systems with the ability to extract, analyze, and interpret production data
Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP functions, and data visualization techniques
Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and their practical application

Work Environment & Travel This position is primarily based in our manufacturing facility with regular floor presence required.
