Manufacturing Engineer @ EVONA
I’m supporting a leading aerospace and defense manufacturer in Connecticut that designs and builds advanced electronic systems for space and defense missions.
They’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to take ownership of production processes for complex electronic assemblies, driving quality, consistency, and continuous improvement across the manufacturing line. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands‑on in a technical environment while contributing to early design and production planning.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and refine manufacturing processes and standard work documentation
Train operators and ensure smooth production readiness
Lead process improvements to boost quality and efficiency
Support new product introductions and manufacturability reviews
Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and operations teams
Requirements
AS/BS in Electrical, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
5–10 years’ experience in electronics or PCB assembly manufacturing
Strong knowledge of SMT processes, IPC & J-STD standards
Experience with tooling design, process documentation, and troubleshooting
Proven problem‑solving and communication skills
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or ERP-based manufacturing systems would be a plus.
