Junior Software Engineer
at
ELIXIR MD
supports the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications that integrate with ELIXIR MDs medical technologies, operational systems, and data platforms. The engineer will contribute to developing scalable and compliant software solutions across
Microsoft (Windows/.NET)
and
Apple (macOS/iOS)
environments, ensuring seamless cross-platform functionality, data integrity, and user experience excellence. Key Responsibilities Assist in the development and maintenance of cross-platform software solutions for internal and client-facing systems. Collaborate with senior engineers to design APIs, databases, and user interfaces that align with ELIXIR MDs device and data ecosystem. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in languages such as
C#, Swift, Python, and JavaScript . Support software validation and verification activities in compliance with
FDA 21 CFR Part 11
and
ISO 13485 standards. Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure high reliability and performance. Work closely with IT and Clinical Operations teams to support system interoperability and cybersecurity. Participate in agile sprints, version control (GitHub/Azure DevOps), and release documentation. Provide technical support for deployment, troubleshooting, and end-user feedback cycles. Collaborate with UI/UX and data teams to optimize functionality and visual interfaces for both Windows and macOS/iOS environments. Qualifications Proficiency in
Microsoft stack : C#, .NET, Visual Studio, Azure, SQL Server, Power BI. Proficiency in
Apple development tools : Swift, Xcode, iOS SDK, macOS integration. Experience with
cross-platform frameworks
(e.g., Xamarin, .NET MAUI, React Native). Understanding of
API design (REST/GraphQL)
and data security principles (OAuth, SSL/TLS). Familiarity with
cloud environments
(Azure, AWS) and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of
GxP software validation
and documentation requirements. Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Detail-oriented, ensuring code and documentation quality. Excellent collaboration and communication across multidisciplinary teams. Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn within a regulated medical technology setting. Demonstrates accountability, integrity, and proactive initiative. Education & Experience Bachelors degree
in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. 02 years of software development experience (internships or project experience acceptable). Exposure to
medical device, biotech, or regulated technology
industry preferred. Familiarity with
Agile development methodologies
and
version control tools (Git, Azure DevOps) .
