Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting products and components for visual defects, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications before release or shipment.

Responsibilities

Perform visual inspections of products, components, and materials using established criteria.

Identify and document defects such as scratches, dents, discoloration, misalignments, and other non-conformities.

Maintain accurate inspection records and reports.

Communicate findings to production and quality teams to ensure corrective actions are taken.

Follow safety and quality protocols at all times.

Assist in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

Use basic measuring tools (e.g., calipers, gauges) as needed.

Ensure compliance with company standards and customer requirements.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in using calipers and micrometers

Visual inspection skills

Strong attention to detail

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) is a plus

Work Environment

1st Shift from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, five days a week, with optional Saturdays from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $22.00/hr.
