General Cardiologist – Oregon Heart & Vascular Institute, PeaceHealth RiverBend Medical Center
Overview The Oregon Heart & Vascular Institute (OHVI) is a leading-edge cardiovascular center located within PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend. OHVI centralizes all cardiac and vascular services—clinics, diagnostics, interventions, cardiac rehabilitation, and wellness—under one roof, promoting seamless, multidisciplinary collaboration and high‑quality patient care across Oregon and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive clinical care in general and diagnostic cardiology.
Participate in advanced cardiac imaging, structural heart procedures (TAVR, Mitra, Tri‑Clip, Watchman, PFO/ASD closure), and strain imaging.
Perform and support echocardiography, TTE, TEE, stress echo, and procedural echo.
Engage in interdisciplinary care in heart failure, electrophysiology, and vascular medicine programs.
Provide rapid‑access clinic care (see patients within 72 hours) and cath‑lab collaboration.
Qualifications
Board‑eligible or Board‑certified in Cardiology.
Significant experience or fellowship training in advanced cardiac imaging.
Strong interest in echocardiography and/or advanced cardiac imaging.
Ability to work collaboratively in a hospital‑internship team environment.
Valid medical license in the state of Oregon and willingness to obtain licensure if needed.
