1.0 FTE (0.9 FTE Clinical, 0.1 FTE Medical Director)
The Medical Director, Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Program, will develop and lead the IBD program at Swedish and across the Physician Enterprise Puget Sound (PEPS).
Responsibilities
Develop a comprehensive, multidisciplinary IBD Program across Swedish and the Puget Sound and Washington State.
Provide guidance and leadership, fostering an environment of teamwork and collaboration with providers and staff across the organization.
Motivate staff and providers to achieve excellence in clinical and administrative performance.
Create a positive work environment and effective communication channels to resolve service, clinical or performance issues promptly.
Serve as a role model in standard of practice and performance, promoting professional development opportunities.
Align program objectives with SHS mission and Swedish DHI strategic vision, ensuring actionable goals and annual updates.
Collaborate with the dyad partner to plan, execute, and evaluate program initiatives.
Monitor adherence to policies, procedures and compliance with Joint Commission or DNV standards.
Champion clinical quality and outcomes across the care continuum, aligning with Providence Clinical Program Services metrics.

Skilled in guiding overall program development incorporating new technologies, treatments, procedures, or research.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, adept at interacting with physicians, APCs, administrators and support staff.

Monitor development and adherence to policies and procedures.
Provide medical direction and oversight for program policies, procedures, and standards of care.
Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, DNV, applicable professional societies, and all relevant laws.
Advance best-in-class clinical quality and outcomes across the care continuum.
Ensure alignment and execution of Providence Clinical Program Services quality metrics.
Qualifications
Licensed Physician in the state of Washington.
Swedish Medical Center medical staff member in good standing.
Active Board Certification in a relevant specialty.
Active DEA Registration.
Compensation Between $350,000 and $475,000 per year.
