Position Overview The Operations Supervisor leads floor operations with a focus on customer service, staff leadership, and development. They directly lead the technical team to ensure operational efficiencies and customer satisfaction, and may also participate in location administrative duties.
Key Job Responsibilities
Organize daily floor activities to ensure timely setup, refresh, and removal of equipment.
Perform daily floor management including directing technician workflow and supporting labor needs and scheduling.
Participate in crew scheduling with venue management and Workforce, focusing on talent-task alignment and event/client requirements.
Ensure flowsheets are updated properly.
Establish coordinated communication for event management.
Attend venue meetings (e.g., banquet event order meetings, pre‑ and post‑conference meetings).
Assist management with team compliance with Operational Excellence.
Provide scheduling and operational efficiency suggestions.
Deliver excellent customer service by following Encore Service Standards.
Maintain positive client relationships through effective communication and on‑site assistance.
Monitor events and check in on customers throughout the day.
Train technicians on floor activities, operational standards, and Encore service standards; mentor new hires.
Lead accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of intermediate audiovisual equipment.
Troubleshoot technical issues quickly, comply with security and safety measures.
Ensure equipment security and perform preventive maintenance.
Lead team in proper security, storage, transportation, and maintenance of equipment; participate in inventory counts.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
3‑5 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
3‑5 years of audio‑visual experience required.
Completion of required internal or external training and certifications.
Knowledge of technical theory and advanced problem‑solving skills.
Experience leading workflow and team members.
Valid driver’s license required for positions operating company vehicles.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Compensation Hourly range: $24.10‑$29.53. Pay determined by location and experience. Potential for overtime, bonuses, and other incentives.
