Job Overview
ECU Health Physicians and East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine, The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine, located in Greenville, North Carolina, are seeking a BE/BC Perinatal /Reproductive Psychiatrist. Applicants should have completed a psychiatry or obstetrics/gynecology residency as well as a reproductive or perinatal fellowship.

The new ECU Health Behavioral Health Hospital, a 144-bed behavioral health facility, will open in the fall of 2025.

Hospital privileges at ECU Health Medical Center, a 974-bed academic medical center and home to the James and Connie Maynard Children’s Hospital, and at the nearby ECU Health Behavioral Health Hospital
Academic appointment with East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine
Excellent blend of clinical care, teaching, and scholarly activities
Inpatient services will include providing consults for the ECU Health Medical Center’s emergency department, labor and delivery unit, and behavioral health unit
Outpatient services will include providing care in both ECU Health’s behavioral health and obstetrics gynecology clinics for prenatal and perinatal patients
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm schedule for both outpatient and inpatient clinical responsibilities
Phone only call coverage for nights and weekends-residents take first call
Ability to work with an expanding multi-disciplinary and collegial department including an ob/gyn addiction trained liaison and the ability to do consults, manage medication for labor and delivery and ob/gyn clinics
