Compensation:
Dependent on years of experience, with performance incentives and a full benefits package
Company Overview A highly regarded national litigation boutique with a decade-long track record of success is seeking to add a talented associate to its team. The firm is well known for representing clients in the retail financial services industry in litigation, regulatory, enforcement, and business counseling matters. This team routinely handles complex cases against Am Law 200 firms and is recognized for delivering sophisticated, high‑level counsel through lean staffing and efficient execution. The firm provides direct client exposure, strong mentorship, and early courtroom experience for motivated associates seeking meaningful responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and advance a portfolio of commercial litigation, white‑collar, and/or employment law matters from intake through resolution.
Develop and execute litigation strategy alongside senior attorneys.
Handle discovery, draft and respond to motions, and prepare for hearings, trials, and arbitrations nationwide.
Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case progress, strategy, and risk management.
Participate in trial preparation, witness coordination, and case presentation.
Qualifications
JD from an accredited law school.
Active admission to the Ohio Bar (or ability to waive in).
Minimum of 3 years
of substantive experience in commercial litigation, white‑collar, and/or employment law from a quality firm.
Strong discovery and ESI experience.
Excellent analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Experience in financial services litigation is a plus, but not required.
Former AUSAs
or government litigators are strongly encouraged to apply.
