Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Relief Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality veterinary care and possess excellent communication skills to build lasting relationships with our clients. You will work alongside a team of experienced veterinarians, technicians, and support staff and will work closely with the Hospital Manager and report directly to the Regional Manager. As a full-service hospital, we offer a wide range of comprehensive veterinary services to keep your pets in great health, from wellness exams and vaccinations to dental care, internal medicine, and surgery. We also offer diagnostic imaging and tools in our facility to offer quick diagnosis and treatment of your pet\'s conditions. Compensation:
$1,000 - $1,250 Responsibilities
Provide veterinary medical care to patients in collaboration with the hospital team. Perform and assist with routine medical, surgical, and dental procedures as appropriate for a relief role. Communicate effectively with clients, explaining diagnoses, treatment options, and aftercare instructions. Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient operations. Attend to patient needs in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and maintain accurate medical records. Report to the Hospital Manager and collaborate with the Regional Manager as required. Qualifications
Veterinarian degree (DVM) from an accredited college or university Current State Veterinary License DEA registration must be obtained and maintained 1+ years of experience in a veterinary practice Strong diagnostic and clinical skills Excellent surgical and dental skills Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality veterinary care Pay Range $1,000 — $1,250 USD PetVet Care Centers is an equal opportunity employer.
