Piper Companies is seeking a Software Engineer in Test - SDET for a midsize e-learning healthcare platform located in Morrisville, NC. The Software Engineer in Test will work to design, develop, and implement test automation frameworks across web platforms.
The Software Engineer in Test - SDET is a 6-month contract opportunity and requires you to sit onsite 3 days a week in Morrisville, NC.
Responsibilities
Design and maintain robust test automation frameworks for web platforms by executing tests across a variety of environments.
Translate business and technical requirements into detailed test scenarios to maximize coverage and traceability to support smarter testing and faster feedback loops.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and rapid deployment cycles.
Work collaboratively across multiple different teams, including development, product owners and other engineers.
Engage with stakeholders to promote best practices in test automation throughout the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience with Mobile testing
Previous experience using tools such as Appium, Selenium, or Cypress
Background in JavaScript, C#, or Java to write test frameworks
Experience integrating test suites in CI/CD pipelines within platforms such as Azure DevOps, AWS, etc.
Understands the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure quality and compliance with the given requirements.
Compensation
Salary range: $80,000 to $95,000
