Duties
Design and implement multi‑vendor routers, switches, firewalls, and phone systems across multiple projects.
Configure and manage network monitoring software such as SolarWinds.
Implement data warehouses, develop SSIS ETL processes, and create Power BI dashboards providing real‑time data analytics to clients.
Design and support Cisco Voice technologies, including Unified Communications Manager, Unity Connection Voicemail, Unified Contact Center Express and Voice Gateways.
Utilize AWS and Azure cloud connectivity with enterprise and VMware virtualization technologies.
Design and support enterprise security using network firewalls, VPN, endpoint security, IDS/IPS systems (CheckPoint, Cisco ASA, Meraki, Juniper SRX, CradlePoint, SonicWall).
Configure firewall technologies: access lists, application and URL filtering, high availability, NAT, site‑to‑site and remote‑access VPN.
Design, implement, and troubleshoot routing technologies (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, Policy‑based Routing, HSRP, Route Redistribution) and switching technologies (VLANs, trunking, EtherChannel, Spanning‑Tree).
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Networking or related specialty field.
Five (5) years of progressive Systems Engineering experience.
Certifications: Cisco CCDA (Network Design), Cisco CCNA (Routing & Switching), Cisco CMNA (Meraki Systems), Juniper JNCIP‑ENT (Enterprise Routing & Switching), Juniper JNCIS‑SEC (Security), VMware VCP6‑NV (Network Virtualization), VMware VCA6‑DCV (Data Center Virtualization), CheckPoint CCSE (Security Engineer), SolarWinds SCP, Microsoft MCP (Windows Server).
Compensation Salary: $122,000 per year.
